Named after the iconic Maltese fishing boat — bold, painted, and guided by the Ħarsa eye. Every dish begins where the luzzus drop anchor at dawn.
The luzzu is Malta's most iconic vessel — hand-painted, wide-hulled, and always bearing the Ħarsa, the Eye of Osiris, on its bow to ward off the deep. We named our restaurant after it.
Since 1988 we've sat on this same quayside. The boats still leave before the village wakes. We meet them at the market, carry the catch straight to the kitchen, and put it on your table before noon.
Line-caught at dawn, 4 nm off Delimara Point. At its peak from September to November — meaty, sweet, unmistakably Maltese.

We're at the Marsaxlokk Sunday fish market before 6am. Your fish swam in the Mediterranean this morning. We never freeze, we never compromise.
Every Friday and Saturday evening, local musicians play traditional għana and Mediterranean sounds on the terrace as the sun drops into the sea.
We recommend booking 48 hours ahead, especially for waterfront terrace seats. Private events for 10+ welcome.
